All Teaching Artists will have as their primary focus mentoring the Intern or Interns assigned to them, to give them the skills and support needed for them to succeed in their parts of the project.
The Director Mentor will teach the Director Intern the fundamentals of directing a play, such as: leadership, overseeing all aspects of the production, collaborating with other artists, directing acting, blocking. The director mentor will also mentor the Stage Manager Intern, the Assistant Stage Manager Intern, and the Assistant Director to assure that these roles are fulfilled in the production.
The Director Mentor and the Project Coordinator are the lead adults making sure that the project is on track, dealing with challenges on an adult level, and that participants are adhering to expectations and timelines.

Commitment is to:
Remuneration: The Director Mentor will be paid a stipend of $750 upon fulfillment of commitment.
- Attend planning meeting with team in May (Details TBD.) There is a possibility that an additional meeting will need to be scheduled prior to the program starting.
- Observe project participants as they go through activities throughout the week.
- Conduct auditions for actors on Friday, June 12 from 9:00 a.m.to 12:00 p.m. (or other hours as needed).
- Attend team meeting on Friday, June 12 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. and lead decision-making for Interns and casting.
- Meet with Director intern, Assistant Director Intern, and Stage Manager Intern on Monday, June 15 to go over roles and responsibilities for these positions.
- Oversee first read-through on Tuesday, June 16.
- Be available to support interns for the duration of the project. Be on site as much as possible.
