All Teaching Artists will have as their primary focus mentoring the Intern or Interns assigned to them, to give them the skills and support needed for them to succeed in their parts of the project.
The Music Director mentor will be responsible to teach the Intern the music for the vocal performances so that the Intern will be able to provide accompaniment and direction for the rehearsals and performances. The Music Director Intern will teach the Intern skills needed to direct the music for the performance. The Music Director Mentor will also work with the Intern to devise and implement a plan to provide the dance portions with music and to lead the accompaniment for the performances.
The Music Director Mentor will collaborate with the Sound Design mentor on a workshop in the first week of the project.

Music Director will be paid a stipend of $500 upon fulfillment of commitment.
- Attend planning meeting with team in May (Details TBD.) There is a possibility that an additional meeting will need to be scheduled prior to the program starting,
- Learn score in order to teach it to Intern.
- Collaborate with Sound Design Mentor on a 2.5 hour music workshop for Tuesday, June 9, to include singing and percussion.
- Attend a team meeting on Friday, June 12 and contribute to decision-making for Intern positions and casting.
- Meet with Intern on Monday, June 15 to teach skills needed to provide music direction for the production.
- Meet with Intern on Tuesday, June 16 to collaborate on music needed for dance portions of play.
- Be available to support Intern for the duration of the project.
